The Hurley Group is an NHS organisation that runs 15 GP practices and GP walk in centres across London. We have been providing patient-centred care since 1969, working within some of the UK’s most deprived communities.

Hurley Central Staff
Executive Assistant
Alpa worked as a journalist for more than 10 years on regional newspapers and websites in the North West of England before moving to London where she freelanced for national newspapers. She also has experience in public relations, event management, social media optimisation and web design. Alpa joined the Hurley Group in 2010 and is one of two assistants to the partners as well as being part of the Comms team. Away from work, Alpa enjoys socialising and seeing as much of the world as possible.
Rajni Chandegra
Executive Assistant
Rajni gained a BSc in Pharmacology from University College London in 1999. Having completed a Masters in Healthcare Law and her academic legal training she worked for various city law firms. Rajni joined the Hurley Group in 2010 and is part of the Mobilisation and Procurement teams. Her role also includes helping to organise group-wide socials throughout the year. Away from work, Rajni enjoys practising Hartha Yoga.
Irene Nhandara
Assistant Capacity Manager
Irene graduated from London Metropolitan University with a BSc in Psychology & Applied Sociology with an interest in addiction. She has previously worked as dental nurse and as a supervisor for an out-of-hours provider in south London. She currently works with doctors and nurses in the Hurley Medical Bank where here areas of responsibility include compiling rotas, end-to-end recruitment and finance. In her spare time Irene likes to relax, socialise and spend time with her two boys.
Katie Pennell
Payroll and Pensions Administrator
Katie joined the Hurley Group in April 2011 working in the payroll and pensions department. She is currently studying for an Accounting and Business law degree and is entering into her final year. Before joining university she worked in the payroll department for an accountant in Kent and has experience within the retail sector. She enjoys socialising, dancing and shopping.
Lucia Pavelova
Finance Administrator
Lucia finished her studies at University of Matej Bel – Faculty of Economics – in Slovakia. She came to London in July 2007. Lucia has a MA (Hons) in Economics & Management of Enterprises. She joined the Hurley Group in January 2010 working in the Finance Department as a Finance Administrator. Her main role is monitoring and making payments to suppliers and our locum bank. Outside of work Lucia likes playing sport and workouts at the gym. She also plays volleyball for Croydon Volleyball Club and loves travelling.
Sabrina Sithanen
Human Resources Advisor
Sabrina had an HR role in a property development company prior to joining the Hurley Clinic in 2008 as an HR Administrator. Since then she has seen many changes as the Hurley Group has rapidly expanded and she is now a HR Advisor for all sites. Sabrina’s role includes a wide range of Human Resources duties; providing advice on all aspects of various HR issues to all members of staff, recruitment, training and payroll. Away from work, Sabrina is the mum of a beautiful boy; she enjoys swimming, dancing, socialising and travelling to different parts of the world showing her son different cultures and ways of living.
Zhenhua Wang
Human Resources Adminstrator
Zhen graduated from Birkbeck, University of London in 2009. Zhen previously worked for CSV as a project co-ordinator to help long-term unemployed jobseekers back to employment through volunteering in Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth. During this employment, Zhen completed CPD and gained Associate CIPD status. Zhen joined the Hurley Group in January 2011 and works in the Human Resources department to provide HR administrative support to the HR team and Hurley Group. Outside of work he volunteers for True Volunteer Foundation on an ad-hoc basis. He also enjoys MMORPG and his favourite football team is Arsenal.
