Alice Bell
Primary qualifications: MBBS BSc MRCGP DRCOG
Alice qualified from Royal Free and University College Medical School in 2010. After her foundation training, she entered Obstetrics and Gynaecology training for three years before changing to GP training. She undertook her GP training at the Royal Free VTS scheme and mentored colleagues who moved from other specialities to general practice. Alice has an interest in women’s health, undertaking the DRCOG as well as working for a time as a GP with specialist interest in Gynaecology in Islington where she became experienced in implants and coils.
Before joining Staunton Group Practice in Haringey, Alice had a clinical lead role in Enfield where she led a team of GPs and additional clinical roles, and was involved in teaching, appraisals, and mentorship.
Alice joined the Hurley Group as an Associate Partner in 2022 where she is part of the leadership team at Staunton Group Practice and Safeguarding Lead. As well as continuing her interest in women’s health by running the mother and baby clinic, she has a keen interest in sustainability and has been involved in making sustainable changes in her surgery as well as helping to work towards making the wider Hurley Group more sustainable. She is excited to help build the team of doctors and nurses, and additional clinical roles such as Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and Paramedics at Staunton Group Practice and help to drive quality health care.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with her young family, exercising, and reading. She also enjoys writing and has had her work published in The Doctor (BMA) as well as in cycling blogs online.
