George Zumbadze

Primary qualifications: MD. MRCGP. PGDip Clinical Dermatology

George Qualified in 2002 from Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia as a Military Medical Doctor. Completed postgraduate training at John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford 2013. Further surgical training at Homerton University Hospital, Bariatric surgery 2014/15.

George joined a GP training program in West Hertfordshire VTS in 2015 and qualified as a GP in 2018. George completed a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Dermatology at the University of South Wales and has an interest in minor surgery and dermatology. He also completed clinical and educational supervisor training at University College London and is keen on training junior doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, pharmacists and paramedics.

George has worked closely with GP surgeries to help them achieve their managerial and business goals. He has also helped provide services for substance misusers in Northwest London. George enjoys his Out of Hours GP work and continues doing shifts in the Urgent Care setting to maintain these skills.

George Joined the Hurley Group as an Associate Partner in 2022. As a clinical lead, his input will be in the mode of improvement and delivery of optimum care to the patients. George feels passionate to be involved in introduction of e-consultation which will simplify patients access to Primary care. He will also provide Dermatology services for Staunton patients.

Outside work George enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.
