Alafiya studied at Medway School of Pharmacy and graduated in 2018, subsequently qualifying as a Pharmacist in 2019.
Alafiya worked as a Community Pharmacist in various roles, before moving to her current role in 2021 as a Primary Care Network Pharmacist in Lambeth.
Alafiya is currently developing her role in primary care and working towards the goal of becoming an independent prescriber. Alafiya is based at the following practices: Mawbey Group Practice, Lambeth Walk Group Practice and Waterloo Health Centre.
Outside of work Alafiya enjoys travelling, sewing, exercising, and spending quality time with family and friends.
