Jonny Blatchford

Jonny qualified from Kingston University in 2019 and completed his pre-registration training at Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust the following year. He went on to be a resident pharmacist at Chelsea and Westminster hospital for almost 2 years. During this time he completed night shifts and gained experience in many generalist and specialist areas.

Jonny joined primary care in 2022 split between the Hurley Group and King’s College Hospital. He works 2 days at a GP practice and 3 days on the Acute and Emergency wards at King’s. Working between primary and secondary care is essential to ensure seamless transition of care and providing continuous patient-centred care. He is passionate about medicines optimisation and patient choice, and also has a particular interest in diabetes and heart failure.

Outside of pharmacy Jonny enjoys travelling, going to the gym, running, and going to as many restaurants as possible.
