Satinder qualified in Liverpool in 1987 and has a strong interest in clinical research and undergraduate education. He completed his PhD in 2002 and worked as a senior researcher/lecturer in general practice for over 10 years.
Satinder leads on Research across the Group and on ensuring that Locums deliver high quality consistent care. He also coordinates and delivers placements for GPs requiring support to get back to work following ill health or who require close supervision on the advice of Regulatory bodies via our Support to Work scheme.
Satinder is a member of the House of Lords All Party Political Group on Continence which has written national guidelines on continence for NHS England. His clinical interests are early cancer detection and prevention, health inequalities, mental health and vulnerable populations.
Outside work he is a keen tennis player, gardener, and a writer (academic and fiction).
