Olukunle Odunfa
Primary qualifications: MBCHB, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFRH
Kunle graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 2003 after which he worked at Wesley Guild Hospital and 72 Batallion Army Barracks Hospital before relocating to the UK in 2006. He worked as a Medical Registrar at Yorkshire Deanery before moving to London Deanery where he completed his GP training in 2013 with the Sidcup VTS.
Kunle has worked as a GP Principal at Charterhouse Surgery where he was involved with the Bromley CCG, Orpington PCN and for the last 9 years has worked with Bromley Healthcare and Bromley GP Alliance extended hours access hubs.
Kunle started working for Hurley Group in 2013 and became an Associate GP Partner in 2022 joining the leadership team at New Cross Health Centre in Lewisham, a large established practice in the Waldron Health Centre. He is passionate about sustaining quality general practice development, safeguarding, clinical governance and engagement with the North Lewisham PCN. Since completing his clinical supervisor training with the University College London, he’s keen on training junior doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, pharmacists and paramedics.
In Kunle’s free time, he enjoys going to church where he helps in the medical unit and also enjoys going on holidays with his young family.
